KnowLove began with a small group of members of The Gathering, an evangelical church in Hixson, TN, who recognized the growing problem of human trafficking in Chattanooga and the glaring absence of the evangelical Church response. This conviction has grown to involve other churches who desire to unite to provide avenues of blessing and restoration for those rescued out of slavery–those who have never experienced real love–so they can truly know love, perhaps for the very first time…the transforming love of Jesus.
The goal of KnowLove is to provide an avenue for evangelical churches in Hamilton County to stand together to provide not only physical needs for those being given a fresh start in life, but also opportunities to minister to these individuals with the Gospel of Jesus Christ so that they can begin to experience “the length and width, height and depth of God’s love” and be filled with all the fullness of God in Christ.
